  • Are the rooms equipped for wheelchair users?
    Our house is not suitable for people with this type of disability. The room on the ground floor will be the most suitable for people with low mobility. Contact us about this.
  • Are there hair dryers and soap in the rooms?
    Yes both.
  • Are pets accepted in your house?
    No. As a measure of hygiene and respect for all the people who live in the house, our animal friends are not allowed.
  • Is there a coffee maker or kettle in the rooms?
    No, however coffee, tea, herbal tea, water are available 24 hours a day in the common lounge. The apartment has these facilities.
  • Can we park our car at your place?
    Yes, we have an inner courtyard that can accommodate up to three vehicles. The spaces are filled according to the arrivals and departures of our guests. If the courtyard is full, it is very easy to park right in front of our entrance gate. Parking spaces are paid during the day from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 7 days a week (discount available), and a number of free parking spots are available just a few dozen meters away.
  • Are the rooms suitable for families?
    No, the rooms are configured and suitable for two people. No extra bed can be installed. Children 6 years and older sleeping in a standard bed are welcome.
  • What restaurants are nearby?
    Some restaurants are available at the foot of the medieval city, less than 10 minutes walk from the house. The closest is the Relais Guillaume de Normandie and the table du Cap at Cap Hornu. We can advise you remotely according to your needs, and will advise you on your arrival. Saint-Valery has a fine selection of establishments.
  • Are the rooms in the owner's house?
    Yes, however, for your privacy, all the bedrooms are separated from our living space, and you are independent in your comings and goings. You also have a living room with TV, the common room and the outdoor terrace.
  • Can we have dinner at your guesthouse ?
    No, however, we do offer a snack platter for winter evenings, which is often perfectly suitable for a light meal. It is available by reservation. During the high season, Saint-Valery offers a wide variety of restaurants, and it’s always possible to bring food back home.
  • Is it possible to use the kitchen in the house?
    No, this is a private area.
  • Is the house in the city center?
    The house is located at the entrance of Saint-Valery, district called Croix l'Abbé, a few minutes walk from the church and the town hall (upper town), and about twenty minutes walk from foot of the place of the pilots (lower city).
  • Are the rooms air conditioned?
    No, however we provide a tower fan during hot weather.
  • Is access to the rooms through a common area?
    Yes, going through the entrance on the terrace side, visitors are therefore likely to meet. The apartment has an independent entrance.
  • Do you have an electric charging station for my car?
    No, but a terminal is available 500 meters away in the village. We can tell you exactly when you arrive.
  • Can we smoke at your place?
    No, the house and its terrace are strictly non-smoking. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a charge of 50 euros. However, a smoking area is available for our guests at the entrance of the house near the gate.
  • Are linen provided?
    Yes, complete bed linen and towels for two people. At your request, we can give you towels during your stay.
  • Do you have WIFI access?
    Yes, the house has free WIFI connected to fiber.
  • Can you swim in Saint-Valery?
    No, the city is located in the bay. You can access the sumptuous surroundings of the bay to contemplate it or go boating, but there are no swimming areas. To swim, head to Fort-Mahon or Quend-plage to the north, or Cayeux-sur-mer to the south.
  • And my motorcycle?
    Motorcycles can park in the yard. Be careful, the ground is made up of pebbles. There is no space protected from the weather.
  • Are the bathrooms private?
    Yes, absolutely. Each room has its bathroom or shower, and its WC.
  • Are the rooms suitable for groups of adults?
    Groups are possible within the limit of 4 people (i.e. 2 rooms) given the size of the common areas available. Contact us if you have any questions about this.
  • What can we visit in and around Saint-Valery-sur-Somme?
    Lots of stuff! Browse our website to find ideas for walks and discoveries the Bay and its wonders. We will give you a map of the city on arrival and explain the things to see and do according to your wishes.
  • And my bike?
    We can park the bicycles in racks on the terrace, which requires going down the 7 steps that separate it from our parking area. They can also remain in the parking lot.
  • What are the nearest towns?
    Le Crotoy, on the other side of the Bay, is less than 15 minutes by car from the house. Abbeville and Le Tréport (urban centers) are 20 and 25 minutes away. Amiens is 1 hour away.
  • Where is the Relais des 4 Saisons located?
    The Relais des 4 Saisons is in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, a town of 2,500 inhabitants on the shores of the Baie de Somme in Picardy, Hauts-de-France region.
  • Are the bedrooms upstairs?
    Yes, for 4 of them. The Aigrette room is on the ground floor, as is the Relais apartment.
  • Can we eat in the rooms? Have a meal delivered to the room?
    No, for reasons of cleanliness and safety, meals are not allowed in the rooms. However, we can install you in the living room or the dining room. Just tell us your needs, and we will find the best solution.
  • Are the rooms equipped with television?
    Yes, each room has a screen with TNT channels.
  • Are breakfasts included in the price of the night?
    Yes, the rates for overnight stays in our guest rooms include breakfasts.
  • How to book?
    Check our website for room availability and book in a few clicks at the best rate. Call us for details and possibly find the solution that best suits your needs.
  • When will the payment for my stay be made?
    Your reservation is confirmed by taking a bank imprint as a guarantee, but your card is not debited at the moment. It's a "book now, pay later" formula. Payment will therefore take place on your arrival according to the payment method of your choice: cash, check, credit card. ANCV holiday vouchers and AMEX are not accepted.
  • What are the cancellation conditions?
    Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 48 hours before your arrival. Contact us by any means to cancel. The day before arrival, on the day of arrival, or in case of no-show after 8:00 PM, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
  • When will my reservation be definitively taken into account?
    When you have received our confirmation email, the room is reserved for you.
  • Is the tourist tax to be added to the price of the bed and breakfast?
    No, the tourist tax is already included in our rates.
  • Can we leave the room later, after 11 am?
    No, that leaves us too little time before new visitors arrive. You can leave your car until noon.
  • Can we check in earlier or anyway park at your place?
    No, it is not possible for us to receive you before 4 p.m. Our property welcomes its visitors and their cars from 4 p.m. We thank you for ensuring that these hours are respected, intended to offer you the best of services and to respect our family life.
  • What time can we arrive?
    We are happy to welcome you between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. We thank you for respecting these times. If you plan to arrive after 8 p.m., please contact us beforehand.
  • I arrive by train or by bike, can I still drop off my luggage and return by 4 p.m.?
    Yes, in order to facilitate your arrival, we can receive your luggage. Contact us about this to plan the right timing.
  • Can we arrive any time between 4 and 8 in the evening?
    Yes in principle. We will still contact you in advance to obtain your approximate time of arrival and thus allow us to welcome you as best as possible.
